So, I havnt seen too many links just mounted to the top of the diff like that. They are normally mounted on a trussed section.

I like the look of the minimalist approach, but is it a good choice?

Allright, I guess it depends.

You suspension will behave differently based on leaning one side or the other. One side will jack differently than the other. one side will most likely flex into the tub, the other might not.

Traction will potentially be different from side to side.

Your call if it is a good idea or not.
