Should I line (probably using Durabak) the tub with the transmission "hump" in or do it seperate and install after?

Is a 3M Fireblock a good product for the seal when replacing the "hump" panel? (I have some leftover from the basement finish)

I did mine seperately, I did both sides of the hump top and bottom.
If you ever want to take the hump out then everything is coated, no place for rust to get in.
I did have some tolorance issues getting everything back together in particular the drivers seat and the storage box.
But it worked out in the end.
I used some weatherstripping material with 1 sticky side and put that on the bottom of the hump.
