So I was discussing with a buddy the dilemma of my unlocked 80 series. (lunchbox vs. factory vs. Air) He has a muscle car background and a decent understanding of what I am looking to accomplish. He suggested that four individual line locks could work and might not be that expensive.
The theory being if DS front is off the ground or has no traction you could lock (partially or completely) that tire and in theory would be able to divert power to the PS front tire.
I have pretty much settled on ARB Air lockers but thought this was an interesting theory and I wanted to throw it out the experts. I searched the general forum for any discussion along these lines and didn't find anything which leads me to believe it is either genius or so dumb that nobody with half a brain would even suggest such a thing. (I think I know which side this falls on but, still curious)
Again, four separate line locks with switches in the cab to lock tires independently.
