LIL help with a HOLLY

failed emmissions need to get carb set right anybody good with holly four barrel carbs . it sounds like a miss in engine, got all new electronics,wires an plugs but idles rough chased it down thinking its the carb any thoughts

My experiance with Holly's, 9 times out of 10, replacing the power valve will cure it.

Might just want to throw a r&r kit into it.

had power valve out yesterday cleaned all lil ports out. no tears in valve every thing looks good i know im missing somthing silly

Just sayin' sometimes those pv's look fine, but the diaphram will get hardened over time..
Shouldn't hear anything but a smooth hiss from the throat while it is at idle.
How many miles on this carb?

less than 800 on rebuild , power valve fine , think i got it , it was the loose nut behind the stering wheel that was the problem .
