My old e-brake boot was tired, torn and dirty- so what's a poor boy to do?

I made a replacement, Had a bunch of nice deer hides laying around- so (or sew) I took the old one apart, used it as a template, and busted this one out!

I must admit though, I make these kinds of things all the time for my buddies with civic/Integra's so it wasn't all that new.

At first I tried to sew the leather to the wire support, but it didn't turn out so hot, so I used some adhesive to glue the sides together, around the wire- and it held up nicely.

It's probobly the nicest thing in the beater now!

Anybody else need one? :D Seriously, wasn't that hard to make- just required a bit of time and a bit of materials.

i think in the girl scouts ya get some kind of badge for that :flipoff2:
j.k. haha

looks cool bro...might have to turn that beater in to some crazy trail rig now

I'd like one, can you do anyother colors, like red and black.

I can do just about any color in cow hides, deer hides are more limited, browns, blacks, burgandy's, etc... But Cow hides I can do in fire engine red, yellow, blue, green, white, black, etc....

8)

I've got a solid maple frame around my aftermarket radio, because I didn't like the space left after the install. Of course, my driver's side seat is greasy and torn, but I never look at it, just sit on it!

I put one up on e-bay to gauge interest.

E-bay LINK!

ya got a pic of it in? i just put in new black seat covers and black rubber floor mats.. really changes the inside around..it would look pretty good with one of those in black...

I'll snap one later tonight if it stops raining, pretty much looks stock, but less shiney.

thats way slick. I might be interested later in the summer when i have more money... Gas prices are killing me (of course im never gonna get rid of my gas guzzler though)

How much would you be marketing these for? I might be interested in one for my blue/grey interior.

Well, they do take a bit of leather, about half a deer hide (OK, they are small deer...) but generally looking to get about $20 for them.

Besides, I find that $20 is a nice round number, easy for a potential buyer to 'swallow'.

I have my leather supplier looking for other colors right now, a brown to match the brown interior, and I'll have him look for a grey color if you want me too as well.

Or, BigSur, we can just trade for parts!

Shoot me a PM of anything else you need.

I'm good for now. :D

But I'm sure I can come up with stuff I need. I always need spare parts!

I'll try to get some grey leather from my supplier and let you guys know when it gets here.

Are you still looking for springs? I have some rear 2" lift springs i am going to sell.

Just rears? I need the whole thing, fronts and rears. Or, I could go for the hot rod look!
