I am little confused about posting this in here . I am looking for a picture of an 80 (or any other cruisers) that made up the ledge at Dictum trail of GWNF. Just wanted to see how it looks :D . If you ahve a picture please post up.

Thanks

Riad

Hopefully I won’t get to much flack for this but check out page 4 of the following link. That is my Bro-in-law in his Range Rover on Dictum. He was running 33s and has ARBs front and back.

There are also some other pics of a couple of Discos that are worth checking out. They were coming up the creek and the west end of Salt Shed.

Just kidding man! Looks good. Nice pics.

Thanks for posting'em :D

that's a ledge..?

:D

Picture doesn't do the justice man. It has many names: ledge, roll ledge, death cliff etc. etc. :D.

You know? I have been noticing this but "most" rover guys tend to do this flooding thing. Must be a rover thing :D

Any way, Brandon, are you talking about this?

A better view of the "stair case ledge", just learned a new name for it :D

Ok,
Those are the ones i was talking about. Sorry.

Also, as riad said...no picture ever does it justice, much different when you get there.

His truck died out right at the end. We then spent a couple of hours trying to dry him out, doing the WD-40 thing but we could not get the engine running. Finally, he got a tow back to H-Burg. I found out about a week later that when the mechanic plugged in the fuel pump that we forgot to hook back up, it fired right up.

All in a good days fun!

those pictures are ridiculous. The white rover didnt even have a snorkel did it? That guy is crazy.

Riad, you still have those pictures of your x-terra going over on Dictums? I think those actually do the ledge justice.

Chris

Here is a picture of my (dare I say it) Jeep coming down it. I don't have any shots of my Toyota.

Riad, I was reading your sig line and your rig looks capable.

Yes it is. I've done it in the truck, but never went up it with the Heep.

Last time I was there some kid came down the trail, by himself, driving a totally stock ZJ Grand Cherokee. He didn't know the ledge was there, and didn't want to drive all the way back up the trail, so he skidded his junk down it. Anything can come down it.

Arright!!! :D. Can't wait to see that! My diffs are open. I am not sure how much game I can play with momentum here. Although in Paragon and Rausch Creek I was with fully locked rovers and walked all over them. Some of them even got stuck with locked diffs and had to be extracted. In that process some of them broke their winch cable . Anyway, Dictum is a very unique scenario. Let me know which line you take coming up. I am assuming the left most line, but I think you can take the right side too now that you have 35s. :D
