Hi,
I am completely new on the forum. I joined upon recommendation of a member that bought from me an Aisan D40 Carburator some weeks ago. He told me to join the forum as some of you could be interested in the carburettors I have for sale.
So here it is : I have several like new (maybe NOS) Aisan D40 carburettor that I got together with other parts at an auction but I have no need for them.
Some have a vacuum sender, some not.

I price each at 250€ ($300)
They are in France but I can ship anywhere in the world at cost. Example : shipping to USA is approx 60€ ($70)

PayPal possible.

Feel free to drop me a message if you are interested. I can also provide a phone number for those willing to speak directly on the phone to assess if I am a scammer or not 😅.

Thanks,

Bastien

I wonder what the extra long throttle shafts were for? It looks like an FJ60 length, which was used for the AC idle compensator. From what I know of the fire truck engines, I’d be more inclined to think there was an adjustable ‘stop’ rev limiter for a forklift application.

It would be interesting to see a pic of how and where the vacuum pots are attached.

Another interesting tidbit. I just finished rebuilding a D40 that the owner said is being used in a forklift. Since I disassembled it a long time ago (didn’t reassemble until after an appearance from Mr. Green) it had already slipped my mind that the sight glass had been skipped in favor of a steel plug. Not the first time I’ve seen this.

But now I’m thinking that none of the pics in this thread have a FRONT shot that would show the sight glass…or lack thereof. 🤔 Probably not much chance of a followup since the OP hasn’t logged in since March. :meh:
