Ok guys I am under way with a rebuild of my HZJ75 at the moment and as part of it I want to upgrade my lighting.

I have Rally 4000s at the moment and I like them a lot but I have been thinking about going to HID.

However I don't really like HID light wile it is very good white light I seem to find that I cant see as far.

What are you guys running ? I am thinking of sticking with my rally 4000s, currently I have two spot lights on the bullbar but I want to put 3 or 4 euro beams on my roof to fill in the holes and throw some good light around at night.


I have done a bit of a search just didn't find much ...

I though about HID it' would depends on watts and temp / color ..

Look around for 55Wkits and as hi as 4300K on temp ..

Another option it's going LED bar or Rounds ( TruckLite )

Take a look at ddmtuning. I have the 55w conversion with 5k bulbs. Plenty of light, quite white. If you can fine the bulbs in 4300 range they would throw a ton of light but be a little more yellow.

Make sure you see the difference between the 55w HIDs and current LEDs in person. There is really no comparison. The LEDs are not very long-range. Ganging a bunch of 5w LEDs side-by-side doesn't make them bright 200m out.
