Hello peeps,

My first post here. I picked this baby up after searching almost 2 years. I just installed the OME 2.5 inch lift with the UCA and diff drop. What do you folks do to make the LC look more balanced? I'm thinking bigger tires but what do you guys run? Also, do you guys run wheel spaces to bring it out a bit? IMG_1532.webp

I run 255/85 R16. Coopers.
Congrats on your purchased.
Nice looking truck.

Love that color, looks amazing. I have 17s I'll be putting on and will go 285/70 or 305/65 with spacers for TRD RW wheels. Congrats.

Really dig the color. Certainly with the lift, the apparently OEM's, look kinda petite. Really lucky to have ACC in your area as well. Discounting the absurdity of the traffic, I kinda miss ATL. Definitely miss UGA coverage living now in the land of the Vols...

Those 33's look nice. Those step sliders clean up nicely. Are the set sliders grippy? I want to take side steps off but my 6 year old daughter will have hard time getting in and out.

Welcome aboard r71! Great looking 100. The 285/70/18s are almost the accepted standard 33 for the 100. There are a handful of other sizes - some taller, some narrower, some both - that work, but the 285/70/18 works very well - fits in the spare well, works in all situations without rubbing, etc. I'm on my second set of BFGs in that size - love'em.

I ditched the running boards and added sliders (MetalTech) soon after getting the 100. Unlike tire size, there is NO consensus on sliders - lots of options and most work very well. Are they slippery? Well, they can be when wet. But a bit of grip tape (Home Depot, skate shop) and you're good.

With young kids, look at sliders with the bump-out at the back door. While designed to keep the truck off trees/rocks, it works great as a step for back seat passengers and for reaching the roof.

Any of you guys running spacers? Seems like some folks are really against it. I ran spacers on my lifted Chevy and FJ Cruiser and never had issues. I really like the stock wheels but they really need to come out more. If any of you guys are running A/M wheels, can you post some specs after the 2.5 inch lift? I don't mind if they stick out a bit, I think it looks better that way.
