Lift Struts.....I've searched, I promise!

I've found many threads that would help me repair my failed struts, however, from what I can tell online, the 97's seem to have a different strut than the rest of them. Does anyone know this to be true. I ask because I would like to do the replacement fix that was posted, if possible. The replacement fix that I found in my search were all related to 95's and down. I don't always trust the many different part numbers that these autopart companies compile.

I'm sorry, I was referring to my rear hatch. It wants to drop on my head all of a sudden. I should have specified.....

You could always call a dealer parts department and ask them

Looking at my 96 and 97 they look to be the same
