Hi All

I was glad to meet many of you last month at the meeting, and hope to see you again this month. I had told Phil and others that I was installing my 6" and now it is installed...looking good if I do say so myself. here is the link to pics in the 80's tech area. build up thread

Wow what a difference 6 inches make. Looks great but are you sure your HOA is going to let it stay. :) Can't wait to see the rest of the goodies on that LX and the inside of that house. Toughest looking LX I've ever seen.

Thanks...funny thing about the neighborhoood, now that it is lifted the gate doesn't sence the cruiser anymore and I have to go out the in gate which is remote operated. I guess it is too tall....hehe.

Nice work! So you are running appro 35" ( 34.6in) - with these 315/75-16 ?

Are you running wheel spacers to widen your stance? How stable does your ride feel to you?

Yes...they are approx 35". I have wheel spacers 1.25" ones but they aren't on right now. I had them on when I took it to discount to get the tires put on and they wouldn't mount the tires with the spacers so I told them to take them off and I would put them back on later. I will probably do that tonight, I put the step sliders on this morning. The ride actually seems very stable for being so tall. I am sure that it will only be better with the spacers. The arms help out a tone I am sure with steering feel.

I think I will be ROTW 5-22-06. I went with the full 6" because I wanted to run a least 35's for clearance and didn't like the idea of running spacers, and the six inch is complete and figured out. I know myself and if I had put on the 2.5 I would have wanted the J's and then spacers and then the 6" so why not just do the full thing right the first time and forget about it.
