I’d like to do a small lift (2”) so I can fit larger tires. I’m interested in maintaining the stock feel and functionality (airbag and adjustable drive comfort/sport). would like to do spring spacers in front, and the tandem airbag spacers in the back. With only 2” can I get away with keeping the stock shocks? Won’t be doing any heavy off-roading so don’t need anything super heavy duty.

Just go with Bilsteins, the adjustable collar up front will get you all the lift you want. I maxed my rear ride height adjusters out and got plenty of lift for my needs but the Tandem spacer in the rear is a good option. The Bilsteins will ride much better than stock shocks.

If you're not extending down travel - no reason to add spacers in the rear. The air springs have enough range to cover the full travel of the rear suspension. You'll just need to modify the height sensors to set at the ride height you want.

Also - FYI a lift will not clear larger tires than you will fit at stock height. This is generally true for independent suspension both front and rear. The lift only changes ride height, it does not change the range of motion of the tires. So it will not fit any larger tire than you could fit without a lift. In a few cases it may actually reduce the maximum tire size because of the necessary adjustments to correct the caster in alignment.

Good luck!
