Life without the resonator can and broken trailer wire plug in

I had BIOR , try and line up a hold for the 7 pin with the holes in the rear cross member so I would not have to cut. It came out pretty close. I too tow a pop up and needed the 7 pin connector, but only run it while towing and then remove it / unplug it for wheeling.

Here it is with a cap in place.

my BIOR has a hole for the 7 pin but never installed it....kept the flat plug and zip tied it up behind bumper so I just reach up and pull it down when needed the few times I ever tow.

I have bent my pipe and plan is to cut off resonator...put heat shield stuff up in spare tire bay and then tuck pipe up higher and out of way exiting flush with bottom of bumper.

Rolling at Hidden Falls? Thats not too far from my casa. So what did you end up doing about your exhaust? I was at a guys shop the other day while he was working on a 100 and it had a different muffler with no resonator and I have to admit that the sound made me a want to take a hack saw to my stock system.

Cut your resonator and weld in a piece of straight pipe in its place. You'd need to weld up at least one new hanger though. I did this at my dads shop. It sounds a whole lot better.

Yes I did the same, just cut in front of the resonator and put a straight pipe on. It sounds a little deeper but nothing earth shattering.

For the seven pin adaptor I ended up just screwing it in behind the bumper so that it faces straight down, then I got an extension for the 7 plug and have just been using that. Seems to work well, but I do like the hole approach in the photos above.

Yes that was hidden falls, that's a fun and pretty place IMHO. I'll send you a PM the next time I head up there and maybe we can wheel together!

Looks like I may be breaking out the sawsall and welder.

Sounds good about HF, we have a meet coming up in October called Wheeltoberfest that I will post up about as well.
