life expactancy of a 1985 fj60

I have a 1985 fj60 with 123541 miles, no engine mods. how long should i expect it to last? its a daily diver that occasionly sees trail use, if that matters.

I have an 84 FJ 60 with 250K. No mods, no trails, desmogged. As long as you change the fluids regularly, she should last another 100k easy.

I'm at 220k with all stock smog gear intact. It runs like new. I'm thinking 300k is well within reach of a stock 2F. Someone here n the board was 400k+ with no engine work. So don't sweat it, yours is a teenager.

480000 km's on mine, top end was rebuilt when the turbo was added at 420 k, otherwise original.

If maintained and parts available try forever!! But eventually parts will be the killer, but not yet , oh not yet!!

I agree with above. I would say somewhere around 300K with simple maintenance. What kind of mileage do you get now?

I have 330K miles on my 85. In reality it's more due to the 33s for a long time without new gears.

I have 285,000 miles on one of my fj60's daily driver all stock no mods. its an 85!

i average about 11 mpg, but its ranges from 10-12 city and up to 14 highway (100% highway tanks, drive from colorado to texas)
