I didn't place this in the classified yet since i have none for sale. But i'd like to know if there would be more interest for this lid i made for a few friends. Some people ask me for the lid only, when they saw this thread. If i get enough people i'll do a couple. I can walk easily on the lid.

Since it is done in aluminum, when we weld the tube on the .081" sheet you end up with marks on the outside of the lid. Also the lid will mostlikely be scratch during fabrication, we don't take much care because i expect people to paint it. If you don't want to paint it then you will need to buff it, if you don't like the scratchs.

I'm in Canada, so if you don't want to deal with customs, I cannot help. I will charge a little extra to pack this up depending on your requirement for shipping. Shipping will be from J6J4Z2, Canada

I don't have a clean picture of the lid installed but will post one.

id be interested to see what you can come up for pricing. im in vancouver, so wont deal with customs, but id imagine shipping something like that would be pretty spendy anyway. not sure what would be the cheapest...can greyhound even ship something that size?

also, would there be any problem adding some weather stripping inbetween the trailer and lid, to make it a bit more of a sealed/dustproof fit? looks like it also may be somewhat removable? how does the single strut hold up or will there be dual struts?

if its a good price and shipping isnt a dealbreaker, id definitely get one. my M101's an 8hr drive away right now, and i wont get to it until march spring break. but if this is more cost effective, i may go this route instead of making one when i get there, even if im only paying for metal & parts and not labour...

I'd also be interested. Also located in Canada. What does price look like. Thanks,

dam thats a cool white trailer in the background

A price would be nice...for one that is 51" X 74" (M416)

Gracias..

Sorry for everyone who ask about it the cover. Some family mathers to take care. Right now seems like shipping cost is a total killer. I haven't done any serious research for good price. But if anyone is willing to look it up. Part would be about 55" x 75" x 8", about 65pounds. sHipping from J6J4Z2, QC, Canada.

I have 3 lids availables

What's the price on the lids???

375US + applicable tx.

If shipped to a address outside Canada, laws says i am can skip the taxes, if shipped outside Quebec, only GST applies. Local pickup, GST and QST.

Someone came to pick it up and we installed it on is very nice M101. Here the result;

NOTE that most M101 i've seem are beat up, and the top opening is usually not straight or square, the lid is. So you may have to work that opening to hav the lid fit nicely.

Very cool of you to post that info Eric. I wanted to buy one from you initially, but $$$$ was too tight. This will let me make one when I have the time & money.

Classy move. Thanks.

Take the list and drawing and head to any metal, aluminum fabricator with a press break and they should charge you 6-8 hours to do it.
