Wanted LHD driver side battery support tower

Hi Everybody,

I'm in the middle of a frame off for an '81 BJ42 and I'm trying to source a driver side (LHD) battery support tower to replace the pile of welds and box section that I have now:

Thanks but I just bought one from a gent in Ireland yesterday.

Do you have any other bj42 parts? You’re in Finland so you might be able to find the rear body vents that came with the cold weather option. I’m looking for a pair of those.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, they are small rectangular vents in the hard top, just in front of the corner windows and above the side marker lights. Here’s a picture: http://car-from-uk.com/ebay/carphotos/full/ebay144404757323706.jpg

I’m looking for both sides, both the inner and outer parts. I’ve only seen the outer parts for sale.

I have one some extra: complete frame with reg.papers, fuel tank, some vents for it, new OEM rear shocks, PTO winch and drive shafts for it, 2 pcs of steering box and steering linkages and rear floor/inner fenders which are cut off. There is few guys here in Finland which have all kind of BJ40/42 parts left over.

But about the body vents; I have never seen those in Finnish BJs. We don’t have the side markers too, European models don’t have those.

Thanks. Do you happen to have a 40 series five speed transmission top plate, shifting cane, shift boots, or the inspection plate? I have a five speed transmission but it has a 60 series top plate and no shift cane.
