I have an opportunity to get locked axles from a US model FZJ80. My HDJ81 does not have lockers currently. I was thinking about Harrops but the axles are free. What is involved in switching them over. Any one have experience with this?

i was trying to avowing the grinding and notching of the housing to accommodate the lockers. I can do a few things well but that is just not something I'm sure of. Plus I have no clue where to notch what.Why not just swap in the 3rd members instead of the entire housings? As you mentioned, the front housing is different for the track bar.
I would say cutting the notch is going to be a lot easier than fabricating a new panhard mount. I think where/what to notch shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
