Lexus service record source

IIRC, someone on this board has access to Lexus service records, based on the VIN. I'm not talking about TSB's, etc. What I'm looking for are service records in the Lexus database on a specific car........Am I remembering correctly that someone here has access to such? If so, please respond, as I'd like to obtain as much service history as I can on a Lexus I just bought (books / records are gone, but the car is really nice)

If you have a local dealer they can look that up for you and give you a copy of the records.

Yeah, I thought about that, but since I didn't buy the car from them, I didn't know if they'd "play nice." I guess our local dealer thinks they're the only source for Lexus in the region, and they're always RIDICULOUS in their pricing / generally won't negotiate. I've always tried them first, but this is the third Lexus I've bought because they're unreasonable.........I've detected that they really got their feelings hurt on the second one. Now, with another one, I was a little hesitant to go to them on records (even though they stand to profit from any service work I have done, dealerships seem to be a bit funny if the car wasn't purchased through them)

I may have to resort to the local guys, but if I can find another source, I'd rather go that route..........anyone?

just call and deal with the service dept, they wont know if youve ever shopped their sales dept anyways. ask to speak with the service advisor or the service manager and just ask if they will pull the service history and fax it to you. when i worked for lexus we would do that with no hesitation, it wasnt like we got asked that a lot.
