Hi, to all my fellows GX's gurus...
I'm dealing with a fuel system issue, according to the scanner, code P0420, few times after an overheat (fixed already), the GX is running in fuel-rich condition
S.T Fuel Trim B1 0.0%
L.T Fuel Trim B1 -14%
S.T Fuel Trim B2 0.0%
L.T Fuel Trim B2 -14%
I did all the checks by the book, everything is OK, but found the vacuum hose connected to the Fuel Pressure Regulator, coming out of the Air-Intake Duct, does not have vacuum at all.
Does anyone did check that vacuum line?
Any clue that you can give me?

Thanks

P0420 is for the post cat sensor. Either cat is bad/failing or sensor is bad/failing. As for the vacuum hose, not all hoses have vacuum at all times. It's a weird concept to grasp but that is how it is. Route your hoses exactly how they are on the diagram and it'll work as intended. Really confused me after I did a head job on my Tacoma and was putting it all back together.

Thanks, Mr. Brake, I did all by the Book, everything is OK, both post sensors are OK, both Cat are good, no leaks, no nothing; but still have the L.T Fuel Trim -14%. Thas why I think the no vacuum, at the fuel pressure regulator is weird, and possible cause.
I'm in Panama City, Panama, sea level, and the weather is like a Florida summer weather all year long.
My other Yota RAV4 2014 has almost the same numbers, S.T.F.T 0% L.T.F.T -8%.
May be is normal, and I'm the wrong one LOL...
