As much as I like my 2001 Cruiser there is one thing I would like to change. I really don't like the "nose down" stance it has. I wonder , am I the only one who is bothered by this ?? The trend in all SUV's seem to have this look, so this isn't an isolated case in the Land Cruiser. I know that you can get "leveling" kits for GM and Ford vehicles. Anyone know if there is such a kit available for Cruisers ?? Is the nose down stance done for some safety or fuel milage issue ?

The leveling kit consists of a socket wrench. The best thing about T-bars is height adjustability. I wouldn't raise the front end too much though.

FYI: I thought the same thing. So I tried it almost level and it messed with the handling/steering...so I put the front back down and all was well again.

My guess at a reason for this front down stance is when there are passengers in the rear, the vehicle will ride more level rather than sag. OTOH, if they installed stiffer rear springs to handle the passenger weight, the ride would be too rough. Self leveling is one of the nice things about AHC.
