The Forest service is requesting a letter of support for their annual request of OHV funding. The club has always sent a letter. We need an officer (usually President) to do this asap. I have the information packet at my house but someone will have to get it since I can't drive. I could meet downtown at my office if that is more convenient. The letter is due by Nov. 17th.

Let me know...thanks.

I can do this. It this something that you could just scan and email to me? If not,we can get in touch and figure out a time to meet.

Thanks Andrew. Send me a pm with your email.

David Molter dropped off for packets at my house that he received too. They have example letters that other clubs have written to show the tone that they are looking for. He said letterhead was preferred but any business style letter is ok. I haven't written a formal letter since college and hated it then, plus I hardly have 10 minutes to myself each day. David suggested that someone look through all the trail run threads since last year and get a count of how many participants and hours we spent on runs and volunteering at the tree area, then inflate by 50% for all the unofficial runs. Anyone else interested in giving it a shot? The forest service needs the letters in hand by next Tuesday though.

PM sent. I should be able to get this together in the next 2 days.

I will take a look at attendance for the tree event and other runs and try to include this, if it seems appropriate for the request.

Email sent with a copy of the letter I sent a few years ago. I wouldn't get too hung up on the volunteer hours. Thanks

So the forrest service receives dead trees because email is using energy made by coal? :D environmentalist global warning
Thought they wanted money but they give it away , funny s***
