It wasn't so much a wobble, which I always thought of as left/right/left/right, but the whole truck rearing up, then bouncing forward, then rearing up, etc. Usually, those seem to dampen out after a bounce or two, these lasted longer and then as soon as they started to dissipate, I'd hit another expansion joint and it would all start over again. It's like I-DOT knew I'd be coming and placed the expansion joints right at the correct distance for my speed. Fun, fun, fun!

Thats just il highways. 88 was intolerable in my 80.

Sorry to bring this back on topic, but....

The dates we are kicking around for this event are July 13th - July 24th ish.

Right now it look like 4 solid yes's and a few more solid maybe's.

Following the Dakota Cruisers choice of Wild Bills Campground in Deadwood SD as their choice for the BHCC, I figured that should be a good place for camp.

Thoughts?

Sorry for my diversion.

I will give you a very solid maybe, almost a yes. I need to coordinate picking up my son in Michigan on the 20th with my wife, but I think otherwise I would be interested in going. I'd say better than 95% chance.

I assume, based on the dates and the distance the expectation is to arrive in Deadwood, SD on or just after the 14th and mostly pack up to return the morning of the 23rd. So 2 days, maybe three, driving each way?

I'm in.

The BHCC is occurs at Wild Bills Campground for a few days while we will be there. Unfortunately, the Dakota Territory Cruisers will not share the camp ground with anyone who does not register for the BHCC.

So, we need to find a good camp in a good area with good scenery and trails. Its a shame, especially because I know the BHCC has had very low attendance recently and the camp ground is quite large. But I can respect their traditions, and we certainly aren't for everyone.
