I know I have talked about this in the past, and due to a number of different reasons I just haven't been able to organize anything, but life has mellowed out a lot for me.

It is time to have a Tucson get together. I am thinking just a "cruise" in like the Phoenix guys are doing. If we have the interest, perhaps a regular thing.

What I would like to know though before I start is what night would most people prefer? I am assuming that a weekend night would be best, but I am not opposed to doing something on a week night if people would want to do that.

A friend of mine owns an auto parts store on Speedway and he said that we can use his parking lot anytime we want.

Let me know.

I'm down! I would love to get together with other cruiser people. Friday or saturday would work for me. By the way, how do I get to be a member of CSC? Let me know. I'm ready to "cruise" whenever.

I may also head up to Chivo this weekend. Saturday or Sunday, not sure.

Official Memberships will be available shortly. Along with a club constitution and dues/benefits program.

a little hi-jacked

Scott's thread got a little hi-jacked, sorry. Those of us down here in Tucson do need to get together once or twice a month not just to beat up our trucks but to sit down and eat, drink and talk about various issues related to Copper State Cruisers. Not to mention just getting to know each other, make new friends and contacts. Scott, when ever you are ready to get together at your friends parts store let me know, I'll be there. Later.

"Let's get Tucson going"
Agreed, but bear in mind that not all Cruiser owners live in the two major metropolitan areas in AZ. Tucson IS closer, and I'd love to attend something like a "cruise", just need a few days notice to schedule it. Great idea Scott.

Count me in. Let me know if you plan a trip around Tucson some weekend. If you don't mind a foreign vehicle, my son has a lifted Xterra and keeps up pretty welll with my crusher.

Our (as yet unwritten) bylaws state that any vehicle may participate in our events.
Membership in the club proper, however, does require something Toyota related. :D

And I'm glad to see more interest in Tucson stuff. We Valleyans shouldn't have all the fun.

I will get something planned for sometime in the next couple weeks. I should be able to give everyone atleast a weeks notice. Since this will be the first Tucson get together, we will just sort of wing it and see what happens.

Ok, based soley on my schedule, I am looking at doing this on Friday the 8th of April.

More details to follow shortly, but this should happen near the intersection of Speedway and Swan and I am thinking around 7:00pm.

So pencil that day in your calanders.

Scott

Count me in Scott! I have a customer at work that has a FJ40, with less than 90k on it. I turned him on to this site recently. I'll see if he wants to show up too.
Looking forward to it. Later
