Leftover bolts…?

Hi all,
I have two leftover bolts after doing a ton of work that I have no idea where they belong. I’m hoping someone recognizes them because they’re a little unique (see picture). Some of the work I did to hopefully narrow it down: replace radiator, rebuild carb, replace fan clutch, fan pulley, and fan, replace clutch, replace oil pan gasket, etc. Any help is appreciated.

You likely use two similar M6 bolts in those bolts’ original location. If you can’t see anything amiss, then you’re good.
Having a couple extra unknown bolts leftover from a tear down is common.
It became very apparent early on when I was doing a tear down that there would be no way to match up all the bolts perfectly upon reassembly just by memory. The way I managed it was to take a picture of every damn bolt I removed next to its hole while held in a micrometer.

Those bolts would be incorrect for that application. Those are frame bolts.

Yes the pictured bolts look like frame bolts as they have cutting threads at the start, but it’s possible…. that the two original transfer case ground wire bolts were incorrectly re-installed in the frame where those pictured bolts should have gone…. and the transfer case ground wire wasn’t hooked back up .
That’s why I asked.

This probably didn’t happen but it’s a plausible explanation

Ok - here’s another possibility….
The ground wire attachment bolts that connects from a starter bolt to the frame….
But these might be the wrong diameter

See yellow/black wire in pictures below.

They’re definitely not skid plate bokts. The washers are too thick and too small of a diameter

so have not been working on the LC lately but have been working on a couple of my 4Runners. These are skid plate bolts from a Gen3 4Runner. And I would have to look, but I dont ever remember seeing washers that thick on my 60 skid plate. What I have on there now is probably not original.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was finally able to get back out to the garage and get the bolts measured. They’re m8x1.25. They’re three cm long. I originally thought they were to the timing cover, but the bolts I’m missing there are larger in diameter. I’m normally pretty good about keeping the bolts organized (I get a big piece of cardboard and poke the bolts thru and label them as I go) but I’m thinking these two were some of the first bolts I removed when I started the tear down and before I made my cardboard organizer. I’ll check the places suggested by everyone. I do know my skid plates bolts were a bunch of random bolts, so it’s possible the bolts I’m missing to the timing cover are on the skids plates. The fun never ends…!
