Does anybody make aftermarket LED bulbs for say the brake lights or turn signals? 8) Thanks!

I've seen them in the Performance Products catalog. They have a website as well. PP seems to often be overpriced so you might shop around.

[glow=black,2,2]I emailed George about that last year ... I think he said something about the LED's being very uni-directional , and might not be the best idea .... [/glow]

[glow=black,2,2]Tried to find the PM .. maybe I emailed him , rather than PM'ing him bout it ...

I thought of that .. but don't they have a s*** load of bulbs in a grouping ... rather than just a single . I've seen them where each bulb has multi-LED's and then they are grouped . Also I wonder if the reflector , or lense would need to facilitate such a swap in bulbage ?[/glow]

There are many sources for LED bulbs for the common applications. They are designed as a replacement. Be prepared to spend $25 and up per bulb. There are multiple versions (bright, super bright, hyper bright) Found this while searching last week for HIR bulbs as an example, not recommending: https://www.accessorysourcedirect.com/ezcart/Lighting.html#searchcart

Again there are all kind of companies selling this stuff. Just like the colored bulbs etc there is a lot of junk being sold for big bucks.

This guy put in Grote LED's in '95 Contour.

It's not a simple swap, requiring some work, but the final install does look clean:

he couldn't have picked a bigger piece of sh*t vehicle to put it in -- why not just upgrade the lights in an old Citation?
