ARCHIVE LED headlights!!!

I haven't fitted any personally but we have H4s. We don't sell H1s because they tend to overheat.

When we do free shipping it is in the CONUS. We could do instead 10% off, or only charge you the difference between CONUS and AK shipping. We've done that a couple of times for MUDers.

Anybody running these LED headlights in cold weather, snow conditions. I know LED's tend not to run as hot as std bulbs and potentially may not be able to keep ice/snow build up from forming over the headlights.

It should

It will be fine, the headlight is a sealed unit.

We haven't had any issues in winter but we are in the southeast. We have been in some decent snow storms in the mountains and haven't had any issues but that is not a upper mid west snow experience.

Any applications for FJ40's?

ice will crust up on the housing. you could try putting rain x on your lights, it tends to help out

How difficult is the install on these. Would love LEDs but not looking to make brackets or rewire.

I am also curious what is required to install. What lights are needed for 80 series. I am assuming 4 total - 2 low beams, 2 high beams.?? Thanks.

Color Temp:
6,000 k

Very interested in these! Question on the color temp though. The website says 5000K but here it says 6000K. Not a huge deal. Just curious what temp it actually is.

Will actually be in back in Columbia in a couple weeks. Trying to see if I can make the trip up that way to pick a set up!

I just installed these light on my 80 and 100. They look great and work well.

The service from Jeff and Steve at Southeast Overland was exceptional. They responded quickly to inquiries and purchases.

I had some minor issues with two of my bulbs. Jeff and Steve helped me troubleshoot the issue. When the issue could not be resolved, they stood by their product and upheld the warranty. The whole experience was very pleasant, and I highly recommend doing business with them.

Any company can sell a product and ship quickly, but companies really prove them self with their service and standing by their products and working with customers when issues inevitably arise. Southeast Overland is definitely top notch.

Thanks again, guys!

Hey brother. Trying to get on your website and the web comes back with an error saying you are having sever issues. Are you down? Would love to check these out for a 1983 FJ40

Fitchstos, I'm thinking about putting a set of these LEDs in my '78 FJ40. I don't know about your '83, but my '78 came with sealed beams in stock form, which isn't compatible with the LED options here since the bulb is not replaceable in a sealed beam. But I've put Hella Euro Spec headlamps in my 40, which uses the H4 bulb, and Southeast Overland does offer an H4 LED!

Fitch, our website was temporarily down yesterday for some emergency server repairs. It should be 100% functional today.

Is your FJ40 still sealed beam? If so you will have to use a H4 conversion housing with our H4 bulb. We have been using the KC conversion housings recently and they work well with our H4 LED's in the FJ40.

The headlights are for the most part plug and play. The led fits in the factory bulb location, the driver plugs easily into the bulb and the factory headlight wiring plugs right into the driver. There is no splicing or anything funky that has to happen to install these headlights.

For the 80 series you need a set of 9005 and a set of 9006 Because of the separate bulbs for low beam and high beam.

They are 5000k, or very very white. Let us know when you will be in the area!

Hi Jeff. I will have to check on whether or not I am still sealed beam. Stand by to stand by.

I'd like know if anyone has tried the H4s in a set of Depo housings for the 80...

Any word if they're going to make a H1 bulb?
