hi all ,i hope one of you fellas can help me out as i have a leaky transmission its not leaking a lot and is just the odd drip but i would like to sort it .
Is it an easy job ? and what is the exact part i need to purchase ?.
I have include a photo of posers transmission as this identifys exactly where the oil is coming out of ,i hope poser doesnt mind and i wish my trnasmission was that clean .

There's a oring on both ends of that idler shaft... disassemble will be required.... but no biggie
 
The o-ring on the idler shaft has dried out and probably cracked.

Unfortunately, the best way to handle this is to disassemble the t-case and replace. If you just pull the idler shaft forward and replace the o-ring and push it back in, you risk dropping the rear thrust washer into the works of the t-case. It's also impossible to replace the rear o-ring. That would be bad. Disassembling the t-case is much easier with the transmission out of the vehicle, but can be done in situ, not that I would.

Thanks cruiserdrew ,i dont fancy dropping the whole lot out just for an o-ring ,so i may well wait untill the clutch needs doing and do it then .thanks for your help
