Is it feasable to:
A. Remove a leaf from a 4" lift spring to lessen the lift and soften the ride,
OR
B. Add a leaf from a same-series stock spring (say, adding a mid-length leaf from a 40 spring pack into an existing 40 spring pack) in order to raise the ride height and firm it up?
Of course both thise things are do-able with new U-bolts, I'm just wondering if either is really effective for their intended purpose.
