LE11 Trim

OK guys, I've read through at least a dozen threads on trim codes (including this one: Trim Code ... Post up what you have - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/trim-code-post-up-what-you-have.824425/ ) and I'm no further ahead! ....could just be me!

I have an April '78 built Canadian FJ40 with LE11 on the trim code. Front seats and door cards are black (dark charcoal?) and rear jump seats are Gray - clearly either the front seats and door cards or the jump seats have been changed.....but I don't know which. Some info I've found says "11" means Gray/Moon Mist, some says it's black (dark Charcoal?) The "L" supposedly means vinyl, not sure what the E means - maybe buckets?

Sorry for the newbie question; just trying to figure out if my '40 originally came with black vinyl or gray vinyl.

My ‘78 FJ40 came brand new with black front seats and gray jump seats. I don’t remember what color my door panels are but I’m thinking that they are black.

Yep, near black door panels are OE for '78 compared to the bluish grey panels now available from Toyota

LOL; oh sure, throw that out there! .....J/k; I never considered that they'd put two different color vinyl seats in from the factory.
