LC70 OEM snorkel fits LJ71??

I am wondering if the Toyota OEM Snorkel for the LC70 chassis will fit the LJ71? I can get one from the Dealership here but want to make sure if it can be done?

I dont think it would be a good fit,the bonnet of the current model 78/79 series is too straight.
ARB would probably be able to source you one even if it is not in their catalog

Thats a BJ/FJ70 and it is different again to the link in your 1st post. The snorkel is a factory landcruiser type,you can tell by the "landcruiser" logo

I doubt that you can get them for the light duty landcruiser.

So the link you provided will work on my truck? They both say Land Cruiser but I see that the link in my 1st post is fatter than the one you provided.

I am really looking at the one you posted, will that one fit or still you think it won't fit? So both of them wont fit on my truck?

No the front of your LJ70 is a different shape to the other 2,I doubt you could bend it to make it fit.
All the aftermarket snorkels list a seperate snorkel for yoru model

Your slopes down more sharply and is about 4 inches shorter.From the windscreen back its the same as the other models


EDIT well actually it might fit.This one from Malaysia shows it as fitting a 1kz t and 2lt engine as well as the 13BT

the HD pre fat body factory will work on your truck, you will need to modify/adapt the inlet from the fender to your air box...

That's nice to know. Thanks for your help Wayne, I will wait until the dealership brings it in stock and take the truck there and do some measures!!
