Moved here from California a year ago, does anyone know of a reputable that specializes in LC's? I would like to find someone I can rely and stick to for my 100 series.
I've seen the video of the cabin air filters, found out the other day that mine doesn't have the opening so need to install the one w/ the opening so I can insert the filters.

You should be able to just order the lx part. Pretty cheap. and removing the old one isn't difficult.

Im in jax but I use different shops for different things. I know the dealership is generally expensive but I've had good luck with Earnie Palmer here in Jax. They take care of me everytime I bring it in (Which is only for large stuff i cant do myself)

Hey Cola, also in Jax. Good to hear about your experience w/ EP. I've had the opposite experience at Coggin.
Don't recommend.

Air filter mod is easy. Order part and drop in. I did this. 1 banana job.

I had the same experience at Coggin.. But EP has been great. I also heard from another LC owner hear that Arlington Toyota is always great. The owner is also a Land Cruiser owner and he makes sure LC are worked on correctly.

Any good local places ride around here? Ive been traveling to North Georgia, Chattanooga, and West NC for any good trails.

Steps - remove screws that hold bottom of glove box, remove glove box. Remove screws that hold the black plastic cover above glove box, airbag sensor will need to be moved, just snaps in/out. Remove bolt holding antenna relay, it is in the way. Remove old cover, insert filters. Put everything back, post here if you get stuck on a step.

I don't travel to hit trails. I get my fix when driving in an out of my local hunting club. Mostly logging roads, but can be pretty gnarly depending on logging activity, rain, and mud.

I've seen the install video and pictures. Just wanted to make sure I'm not causing issue w/ the airbag sensor by moving it. Also heard someone posted that after installing the filter they heard some strange noise from the fan? Anyone else heard that?

You just need to make sure that the blower motor is still properly seated. I would also shop vac out the filter holder. Dirt and pine needles seem to find theie way in there. Could be a source of noise.

Definitely vac that sucker out. You will be amazed what will be in there.

Does anyone have picture instructions to install the 2005's without the filter door?
