I saw a Dark Brown, maybe even Black 40 with hardtop this morning, turning off of Kaliste Saloom onto Farrel. Might be a STM student.
That's Andre Trepangnier. Correct.. STM student.

Saw a nice early 90s FJ 80 up here in Minden today. That's the first Cruiser I've spotted. Had AT's, a mild lift and ARB on the front. Someone loved that Cruiser. Gonna keep my eye out and hopefully run into him soon to chat.
My mom saw a green 40 behind Fatima............I am sure you guys know who this is......right? My mom used to have a sweet 1995 FZJ-80. She is a big fan but wasn't a big fan of the gas milage and sold it because of that, when gas was like $1.27 a gallon.![]()
Spotted a solid axle 1st generation 4runner at Lafayette Shooters, but was not driving and unable to stop, it is black, lifted, and has a snorkel. Just wandering if anyone knows who this guy is? I have seen him a couple of times in traffic, but never close enough to flag him down.
Well driving through my parents subdivision I ran across this. It is a real nice 1976 fj. I met Tim Flynn nad jokingly asked if it is for sale and got a laugh and he said I just bought it yesterday. Super nice guy and a very nice fj. I told tim about the club and he said he would be interested in coming out to club stuff and some rides. I also told him that the guys in club are all here to lend advise and a hand if needed. Congrats Tim![]()

i found the actual owner of this truck his name is sterling menard.
helped them get the truck running (mostly in a sideline role a few pointers)
gave him a card and my phone# invited him out to the paradise ride, informed of the club meetings, and our club and mud forum. seemed excited and may attend next weekend, but was interested in the meetings as well.
the truck is a 1972 fj40 weber, header saginaw power steering 33" dunlops overall in great condition. looks as though as he was telling me that the previous owner took great care of it and it shows. body work looked good no major rust a few bubbles, but that is to be expected.
took the pics above from my phone on Johnston. There was a red head driving it back and forth to UL for a good while. Made several attempts to give her a card but never saw her pull in anywhere to give her one. They were selling it if I remember right for 14K range. Maybe he's the new owner. Good work Dan I hope we'll get to meet him.![]()
