I know this has been talked about ad nauseum, but Alright, I have been looking through some of the forums last few months and thinking on what I want to do first to my 200.

I want to start out with putting a front bumper (thinking ARB) with a winch and a 2-in suspension lift.

With the ARB front, my concern is the added weight and what it will do to wheel bearings and the front end suspension when it comes to wear. I see people put stiffer springs up front to help with weight that comes with the bumper so you don't get front end sag.

Suspension lift: I see a lot of people on here use OME. Would this be the default choice?

This is my daily driver so I do not want to have a suspension so tight that when I go on a road trip I'll be kicking myself for doing it or my wife in my ear cackling on how I ruined everything, though that my not be avoidable. :D

Any input is appreciated.

I cut & pasted this from the bayou chapter where I originaly posted it. That's why it's such a mess.

I think people use OME as they are made by ARB. Best thing to do is if you could find someone who's done the lift and added a steel bumper and see for yourself how it feels like. There are different ome springs to suit your need (with/without steel bumper) and how heavy the vehicle would be loaded
