new to the forum, this is my first post.
i recently purchased a 2017 LC200 VXR diesel.
i have had in these last 2 years various changes i sold my 2014 GX460 and hopped into a volvo xc90...
less than a year gave the xc90 to my wife and acquired a 2 door wrangler which i modded for offroad use
but saw an oportunity to get the lc200 and after 11 months i sold the jeep and switched to toyota.
in my country Dominican Republic, i cant use the Navigation because toyota does not have Maps for my
country.
i have seen some images of PLATINUM LC200 with a tesla like radio and would be interested in acquiring
this since i can tether the internet from my phone and use the navigation features as well as the pitch option that my LC200 does not have. it came with all the options for offroad use Active height,turn assist,crawl etc etc but no pitch,no navigation,no BSM,no TPMS indicator and no lane assist which is a real bummer because at that price point ($130,000 US dollars) it should have this.
besides that the handling of the truck is AMAZING, the commanding view of the driver seat is epic, love my land cruiser all around.
my question is has someone had the opportunity to fiddle with the tesla like radio(super audio i think its called) and if so the land cruisers i have seen that have this radio, do not have the display screen in the middle of the gauges, if i switch to this radio, do i lose the features of example radio on the gauges center display? i know i still keep the functions of the steering wheel but do not know of the center screen in the gauges if i still keep the functions of the radio.
