Last minute to North Carolina

After finally getting the truck put back together and in one piece it was time to get out and try to break something else. Thanks for the encouragement on other threads as well, what would I do without friends like you.

Anyway, a few of us through together a last minute trip to NC and convinced a few gamers to go along. We had an idea the weather wasn't going to be the greatest but what the hell! We managed to bump into 2 other trucks and 4 guys, one was Ih8mudder and the others were J**p guys, it was a pleasure to share a campfire with them, Thanks guys!

and as far as damage report: 1 punctured fuel tank (yes mine) and 1 cut tire (Marius--AGAIN)

Thanks for the pictures. I looks like a very scenic drive with moderate wheeling challanges and nice remote camping (i.e., great outing). Is this correct take-away from the pictures? Also, I read Marius' posts on the STLCA page and could not pin down where you went specifically. Would you mind filling some of the details?

Marius Temp gauge at 9AM Sunday said 21*. My E-brake froze tight and had to be broken loose Sunday AM. Yea, it was a little chilly but we were well prepared, I had 3 sleeping bags.

All I know is that crawling out of that truck at 3 AM was an experience to be long remembered. Why does the name George Costanza (sp?) come to mind?

Guys,
I showed the pictures to Melissa and she really liked them, but did not regret missing the opportunity to snow camp. I have either spoiled her too much or she is just smarter than me. The later is more likely. Again, nice pictures and thanks for posting them.
