I'm looking to get some fresh air and take advantage of the weather.

7:00 am. Meet at Chevron (Carefree Highway and 1-17).

7:20 departure from Chevron.

Head up on the 1-17 and exit 320 or Forest Rd. 153. Head west on Shnebly Hill Rd.,

We air down there and cruise through a 13 mile scenic trek to Sedona. We cruise through town, gas up again if necessary and cruise over to Broken Arrow.

The first link is a quick article on Schnebly Rd., no difficulty here but very scenic:

The second link is the Broken Arrow map, if you scroll up you will find where Schnebly connects to Sedona:

The last link is just info on Shnebly and a quick little map:

Check to make sure Schnebly hill road is open.

I would be surprised if it wasn't open. I'm in the Blue Ridge area and everything been open there for a few weeks. I won't plan on camping and having a campfire. Possible a restriction on campfires will be in place Friday. If we don't get any moisture up there pretty soon I could see them closing the forest (Coconino National Forest) down but that wouldn't happen that quick.

Its open, all of the roads in that area were open 3 weekends ago when I was up there. Have a good trip!

Thank you Peace!
