Interstingly, Mike from the Last Line of Defense youtube channel owns an LX570. Here's his thoughts on his nicely modded rig.
I think it’s a good thing. I think more enthusiasts will begin buying them which means more companies will start making aftermarket goodies. There seems to be 10 LX’s to every land cruiser on the used market. I was originally dead set on a land cruiser but once I started doing research and learned to not be afraid of the AHC system I was sold on the LX.Likewise appreciated that he reviewed the LX as an owner and enthusiast. To your point with more first hand knowledge than the typical reviewer, which tends to see through the lens of topical judgements.
Glad he's sharing. At the same time, he's letting the cat out of the bag. Which could be a good thing or bad thing depending on how one looks at it.
What doesn't he have haha. I know the Tremor is a collaboration truck that he built and chronicled for a channel sponsor and will be given away next month. I am curious if the Rav4, Tacoma, 80 and now this 200/570 are all his personal vehicles or if they are supported by the channel and/or sponsors/vendors in some way?!
