Largest Spare Tire under Coastal Offroad full height bumper

I have full height coastal offroad bumper on my 5th gen. I am thinking about downsizing my tires to 285\70\17 from 315\70\17. Want to get a bike rack on and it would stick out really far using a hitch extender.

My bumper has the removable 2" trailer hitch which seems to go beyond the bottom plate of the bumper limiting space for a spare under the vehicle even more. I still want to keep a hitch and maybe even be able to tow.

Wondering what experience others have had putting a spare tire under their 4runners with this type of setup?

A comparison between the factory 265/70 and the 285/70 the difference is only an inch. So you should be fine.

Have you tried giving the guys at Coastal a call to see if they have any knowledge on this topic?
