After 12 years and 180 Land Cruiser restorations, I have decided to close my business. I have a ton of Land Cruiser parts available, particularly 100 series Land Cruisers and LX 470s. I have door panels (interior and entire doors), door handles, wheels, headlights, turn signals, fog lights, all interior trim pieces, seat frames, electrical components, and all the GST fender flares you could ever need. I basically have two cars worth of stuff that I need to get out of my shop. I'm slowly but surely putting everything on my ebay store but I'd really prefer to sell to people on mud. This site has helped me so much over the years and I"d like this stuff to go to people who use and drive these great cars every day. I am going to post this message in conversations as well. I'm also going to put my number on here for people to contact me. This does not appear to be a violation of the forum rules so here goes. 817.819.3210.
Also, for any of you who may be interested, I will be completing my final restoration of a 137k 1996 80. It's a California car with absolutely no rust. And, no it's not triple locked.

Hi,
I am looking for parts for the nav delete on my 2002 LX470. So I am looking for a non-Navigation A/C control unit, bezel and connectors. Do you have these parts in your collection? Would be awesome. Unfortunately, I can't write you a pm

100 Odometer

I don't know if you have some knowledge or a part that will help me but I'll give it a go.

The odometer display on my car is crinkled like heat damaged from living a long time in South FL Sun. Makes it impossible to read. I think you can make it out at night but not during the day.

Is there a way to fix this? What stores the mileage? Is there a major part or minor part you may have to fix it? It is just the little odometer LCD that is the issue?

Price for a jack/associated parts and a front grill for a 04 LX470. Shipped to 22152.

I need L and R brackets for third row seats in a 100 series. The two that are against the wheel well. Part numbers are 7890460090 and 7890360090. Got those and the hardware - 2 bolts either side? If so, price shipped to 14120, please, and thank you.

I was able to locate these elsewhere, no need to go looking.

Hello,

Got a smashed pass side mirror on my 2006LX470. Need the whole kit and caboodle (mirror and outer housing) in galactic grey mica or whatever it’s called. Got one hanging around?

Thanks in advance,

Seth

I have the whole tailgate. I'd recommend just getting that part new as every one on the planet cracks. Look in classifieds for my latest rant for contact info. Thanks for reaching out.

Sorry man. I parted out a couple months ago before I posted on here. Check Cruiser Yard in Austin.

I've got the whole instrument cluster. It's stored in there by a computer. If you buy mine, you'll have 129k miles on your car. Smarter men have figured it out. Or in this case, chat GPT:

How Odometer Programming Works in the 100 Series

  • The mileage is stored on an EEPROM chip inside the instrument cluster itself.
  • Swapping in a cluster from another vehicle will usually display the mileage stored on that donor cluster, not your vehicle’s actual mileage.
  • To correct it, the EEPROM chip must be reprogrammed (mileage correction).

✅

  1. Specialized Odometer Programming Tools
    • Tools like Tacho Pro, CarProg, or XTool can reprogram Toyota EEPROMs.
    • Requires removing the cluster and accessing the EEPROM chip directly.
    • Not typically DIY unless you have experience with soldering and EEPROM programming.
  2. Odometer Correction Services
    • Many shops and mobile techs offer legal mileage correction services for situations like:
      • Cluster replacement due to failure
      • Rebuild or upgrade
      • Restoring correct mileage after a swap
    • Cost is typically $100–250 depending on the provider.
  3. Dealerships / Toyota Techstream
    • Toyota dealerships generally do not offer odometer programming on clusters. They will note the discrepancy instead.
    • Techstream (Toyota’s diagnostic software) does not allow odometer changes — it only reads data.

⚠️

  • It is legal to correct odometer mileage when replacing or repairing a cluster, as long as it’s disclosed and accurate.
  • Tampering with the odometer to defraud a buyer is illegal under federal law (Title 49, U.S. Code, § 32703).

🧾 Tip for Selling a Cluster

If you're selling a used 100 Series instrument cluster with a digital odometer:

  • Include the exact mileage shown on the cluster in your listing.
  • Mention: “Cluster can be reprogrammed to match vehicle mileage by a professional odometer correction service.”
  • Optional: Offer to refer buyer to a trusted service if you know one.

That's a territory I've never ventured into. There are people who can do it but it takes a lot of time and patience. Sorry to be so late to the party, I just figured out how to clear out old messages. Only took me 16 years. Best of luck to you and please tell your Land Cruiser friends that I am getting back to everyone a little quicker than, well, ever. 817.819.3210
