Lap top mount installed. 3/4 inch rod and a torch made the bends as easy as a hot knife through butter. Welded two tabs to fit under the seat bolts and bent the tabs to fit snug along the floor and wrap around the rod. I had a pivoting head sitting in the closet from the studio so I fabed it to fit on the rod so I can pivot the computer to suit what ever position is needed on the vertical plane. There is one more component to go on top of the stand and that pivots as well so you can change the computer angle and rotation. Drilled and welded a couple 1/4-20 nuts to add a couple of twisty things to stop rotation and ground a groove in the rod for a rotation stop. Another fun project done.
