... found you a family wheeler!

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

NO AFFILIATION

This is a 1996 Land Cruiser, fully loaded. It came with me from California when I moved here in April 2008. It has 175,000 miles on it and has seen very little snow, salt and sand. Unfortunately I hit a mailbox and smashed the front headlight out 2 weeks ago. I can't afford to fix it and must sell.

The Good:
California car
4Wheel Drive
3rd row seating
Interior is leather, good condition.
Single cd in dash
Roof Rack
Tow Package
Running Boards
Power Doors/Seats/Windows

The Not So Good:
Needs tires ($200 used, $600 new)
Needs body work (I was quoted $1300)
May need catalytic converter (Check Engine light is on and code is related to emissions. CT. Emissions is good until February 2011)
May need a new starter (it hesitates when I start it on cold mornings)

I would like to get $4000 but will accept best offer. I've already been offered $3,000 so please don't lowball. Thank you.

$1300 in body work, doesn't sound like anything I want to take on.

depends on the place he got quoted. I had a guy back into my POS daily driver camry on christmas eve. Bent the bumper cover back, very slight damage to the quarter.

body shop estimate was $3800. Seriously.

I plan on a 12 pack, a torch and 20 tec screws. Might even buy a $8 can of color match if I feel nutty.

I emailed to check on lockers and to see if he'd send better pics of the damage.

I was talking to Yodafrick. I picked up an 80 out of NC for 3900.00. While the body is straight it has had some body work done to it.

For him to be offered 3000.00 for a busted up 80 with an engine code is pretty damn good.

No affiliation. Body shop quotes are way different than fix by you in your garage quotes. Just puttin it out there.
