I have heard back from the owner finally. He is interested and I am investigating shipping costs both by container and Ro-Ro. So far container to Toronto is US$4868 landed but no other prices. I await answers from Africa...... If you want to email me direct please use jbowden@gumtree4x4.co.uk . Have a good weekend! John

This original FJ45 3 speed manual was manufactured in 1966
This vehicle is believed to be the oldest Landcruiser in Kenya with the bodywork unmodified

Mileage 173,000 miles

Petrol engine 3878 cc

Only three owners; in current ownership for more than 30 years. The first owner was Ted Nightingale, who was British Governor in Equatoria Province in the Sudan before Independence.

Mechanically, believed to be in good condition

Heavy duty suspension

Bodywork – reasonable. Some rust, but not extensive. Rattles as befits age.

Interior – seats reupholstered – otherwise reasonable and unmolested.

I am trying to find out what interest there might be in this unusually standard vehicle with the patina that is to be expected given its' age but in good general condition. More details and photos can be sent if required. I am based at Gumtree 4x4 Ltd in the UK but will be going to Kenya shortly and do regular business with customers in Kenya.

Jambo,
Let me know the offer the LandCuriser.
Thank you

Holy s***..

Ok, I'm totally tripping out here... My grandparents had that exact color combo 45LV with what appears to be the exact same rack in the very early 70s.

The crazy part is they were living in KENYA with it! What are the odds?

@thatcabledude, You gotta get it man. The license plate alone would be great in FL.
