So get this I have LC200 2009 and my friend have Sequoia 2010 - same engine V8 381 hp I think same tranny too 6 speed auto. So I know that LC then I step on the accelerator it just GO and go very fast I can feel the torque , but in Sequoia I do not feel it so much. What is the main difference? anyone know know facts? it is a exhaust pipe in LC have a shortcut? I have not tried Tundra . Anyone can compare or experience the same?

Differences are rear end gear ratios, AWD/2WD, traction control nannies. LC also has ecu programming for eco/pwr.

that does not justifying the extra power boost. LC is not AWD it is 4WD all the time Sequoia 4WD too but optional. there is something else in the system cuz when I drowe Sequoia . I was really surprised , that it did not do as well as LC.

your butt dyno is off, dude. do more squats or something. drive a 510hp supercharged range rover. both will feel like slugs in comparison. no care.

My feeling is actually opposite. My old '08 Sequoia seemed to have more punch off the line than my LC. LC has same power once off the line but I think it has to do with weight and LC being full time 4wd vs rear wheel on Sequoia. LC weighs about 100 lbs more. Tundra is even faster off the line.

You are right LC is full time four wheel drive, I was mixing my AWD/fulltime 4wheel drive terminology.

Skhochay,

Did you feel or perceive this or do you have measured data on the performance differences?

Did both vehicles have the same payload? Same amount of gas? Were both vehicles warmed up and on the same stretch of road?

These vehicles are very different in size and weight, and intended use. The wheelbase is very different, gear ratios, computer timing, exhaust. There are going to be very different tuning differences between them.

no data just pure feelings on the test drive.

Had a 2008 LC and now have 2013 Sequoia. Completly argree: my butt dyno says the LC is quicker.

Other factors may play a role in the butt dyno readings - tyre pressures and size, gasoline type in the tank, cleanliness of air filters, viscosity of engine oil, condition of clutch packs in the auto transmission, condition of MAF and O2 sensors, etc etc.
