Does anyone make a sunshade for a 2017 LC/LX that has the "Land Cruiser" logo on it?

This bad boy gets HOT in the georgia sun.

If you care about function more than the logo, look up the UVS100 series from cover craft. By far the best I’ve found.

We don't have a sunshade, so I can't help you there. I can tell you though that we just got ours fully tinted with Xpel XR Series tint, and it is a game changer. We went with the midgrade 85% heat reduction, and I can't imagine how nice the XR Plus is. We got all windows tinted including a clear film on the windshield and sunroof. Live in Florida so our sun/heat should be similar or worse than yours, and I can go get in the truck at any time of day and sit down without feeling overly hot. I have even put my son in the truck and went back in the house to grab water before starting it up, its that much of a difference.

Not sure about one with the logo but Covercraft and HeatShield are two great options. I have my windshield tinted but if it's hot and I'm parking in the sun, I'll still use my HeatShield.

Interesting, this is the first time I have heard of that.

I planned on doing 70% tint on the windshield, might have to look into this for the sunroof.

Are there only certain places that carry this or should I just start calling places?

+1 for covercraft. have them for all my cars.

Xpel is just a name brand of tint film, and I am pretty sure it can be carried by any tint shop. I don't believe they have "authorized installers" or anything. It does tend to be a bit more expensive, so its usually carried by the nicer brick and mortar tint shops than by the small or mobile guys.

Ours cost us right around $500 for all of the glass in the 200.

+2 for Cover Craft. I also have one in each of my cars.

I've used intro-tech ultimate folding sun screens for my cars. Little cheaper than the covercrafts but similar quality.

I purchased a set of window screens from Solar Screen out of Australia. Should arrive next month. They will fit them to all the windows and have done the 200 window pattern before. Here is a small article about them: Land Cruiser Build Rear Solar Screens | 4WD ADVENTURER - https://4wdadventurer.com/gear/land-cruiser-build-rear-solar-screens/
I bought ones from Solar Screen for the 2nd row, rear windows and hatch. Used while camping on the beach and they work great! Keeps all sun/heat and light out. Liked so much that I recently ordered more for the front windshield and driver and passenger windows. Well worth the wait.

But if you want something sooner, can't go wrong with HeatShield or Covercraft.

covercraft is a good solution - fits nicely even with my radar detector hanging down from the rearview mirror (Blendmount).

Reviving this thread:

I plan to get at least a windshield shade and perhaps tint or some of those Aussie made screens down the road simply for comfort; but I am worrying more about cracking/fading of dash and other interior components given I do park my truck outside in Georgia quite a bit.

Does anyone have an experience or evidence of high mileage 200 interiors breaking down due to this?

I plan to keep this truck for a long time and want to avoid being years down the road and out of production scrambling for scarce OEM parts to replace things.

I'd get some light ceramic based windshield tint, a windshield shade, and apply some 303 aerospace protectant on the dash and seats from time to time. Has worked well for me so far in the NM sun.

I did the Xpel Plus for my landcruiser.- 70% on front windshield, sunroof. I think they did something similar for the rest of the windows- front doors, back doors, rear window. The glass on those windows are already tinted and I wanted to be able to see at night. I no longer get sun burnt knuckles or face (left side) when driving.
