Lol I’m sure many builds here are up to that level, it’s just this guy itemized it. Build is rad though.

Ya, no doubt. Difference is it’s all done pre-sale, new...which is pretty unusual. The truck was briefly at LCDC in Fort Collin this summer with its new owner...

Definitely liked the suuuuper tucked front bumper. Sadly that front is not up for mass production, as it’s a difficult fabrication, according folks at Slee. It would be the one non-bull-bar I’d have found extremely tempting...

Seems to add up pretty quickly , I’m 6k possibly half way point , I’m thinking closer 15k all said and done for bp51 , front and rear bumpers and slee sliders , winch , tires , wheels , batteries .
Also skid plates .
Thats not even gears and lockers down road ,
Just picking at it when I get extra cash with my side money ... its crazy to think about how much dough can go into these trucks .

So they’ve made an official decision not to sell it? That thing is literally the only front bumper I’d consider for a 200 at this point.

We’re having one built and what I discovered was how bad the snowball effect is. You want the aux tank, well now you need the rear bumper, wanna save on freight you might as well get the front bumper too. Well, you just added a bunch of weight and the suspension really needs upgrading... now your stock tires look dumb and don’t fill up the fender wells and on and on and on. We had the initial intentions on starting small and doing it over time and mostly our own labor... thank god I married well, she pushed for the turn key option.

I’m not doing bad on parts collection , I’m not in a hurry so there are good deals on parts and shipping if you shop around . I have the shop space and living in the east coast I don’t drive my new 200 in the salt and slop , you pay all this money for these trucks and then put more in to have you build destroyed by corrosion sucks .
I have a rear bumper and sliders from slee on order just to utilize one shipment . All ready have the TJM bumper , may color match that while I wait for more parts .
Hyperinflation is eventually going to kick in , with all the covid crap , everything seems a bit stagnant , price on parts are not going down .
My base build is going to be 15k and thats still not gears and lockers .
Time these days is a lot harder to come by , I have a fabrication shop and owned a auto body shop for over 20 years , for me to fabricate bumpers and sliders like I use to do is not cost effective at this point in my life , so I can completely understand about just buy it done if it fits your budget .
I’m doing that half way just buying parts that meet my standards , I’ll still fabricate small parts these days.

We have front bumpers coming out for the 200 next year. That is all I am saying now :)

Thanks!
Any way I can coax you into telling us whether it'll cover all years of 200, or just a sub-set?
