Lame Sylvania LED backup lights

Very unimpressed.

$25/pair at Advance Auto, and $15 on Amazon. Only slightly brighter than stock. See pix taken with and without flash. Not a game-changer, as LED lights should be. Lifetime warranty, if that matters. The cheaper version of these does not have a die-cast heat sink and has a lesser warranty.

In the photos, the new LED bulb is installed in the RIGHT backup light, and the ancient Kioto incandescent is installed on the LEFT side. You get a color difference, and they are very slightly brighter. Real world backing-up-at-night light is no better.

Yeah, it looks like those things blow. Too bad.

These only draw 7 watts (ea) instead of the 26.9 watts (ea) of the original incandescents.

They are very bright. I installed them on my 60.
