For sale is my 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT Cummins 12 valve 4x4 with 5 speed transmission and 148k miles.
I purchased this truck about 12 years ago out of Arizona and it's titled in my name and currently registered as an antique in the state of Texas. This has been a very dependable Dodge but I rarely drive it anymore so it's time to pass it on for it's next adventure. This truck runs and drives great, the ac is cold and the heater is hot, the cruise control works properly, pretty much everything is in working order. Along with all regular maintenance I've replaced numerous parts and added some mild performance upgrades. Also, with this being a truck that has spent its life in the desert southwest there is Zero rust to deal with! Below is a list of repairs/upgrades.
New water pump and tstat in 2020
Valve adjusted and cover gaskets replaced in 2020
New radiator and hoses in 2018
2x new batteries in 2020
+50hp injectors in 2020
Big air filter and custom mount in 2021
Crank main seal, timing cover reseal and dowel pin killed in 2020
New shocks and steering dampened in 2021
SPLC urethane light gray (closely matches the factory gray/silver)bedliner on the bed and exterior in 2019
Ranch hand style bumper in 2013ish (can't remember the exact manufacturer)
Tractor supply tool chest in 2021
Glowshift gauges and A pillar mount (egt, fuel pressure and boost)
Custom bed/ladder rack designed to carry kayaks or mount roof top tent rtt in 2020, the rear bar is also removable to facilitate carrying tall items like a fridge or freezer.
Clutch and rear main seal were replaced by prior owner somewhere around 95k miles
Exhaust was done by the prior owner, not sure of when though.
This is a just a partial list that I can think of off the top of my head.
Know issues:
Being a 27 year old truck from the SW the interior is not perfect, the headliner is starting to sag and the seats show expected ware.
Like most diesel trucks there are some oil drips, not noticeable at oil changes but they are there, also the trans will leave a drip or two after long drives.
The backlight on the boost gauge went out last month and I haven't had time to diagnose.
There is a small chip in the windshield that I will get fixed if time allows and the passenger side mirror is cracked.
Included with the truck will be numerous spare parts, a service manual and fluid for the nv4500 transmission.
Not included is the awning, hi lift jack and sand ladders.
All in all this has been a wonderful truck that I've enjoyed all these years and should serve the next owner the same. Asking $15,000 and she is located 20 miles West of Del Rio, TX. Will consider firearms as partial trades. Please pm with any questions.
