LA Area (Upland) PPI/Timing Belt work LX470

Hey folks, looking at an 05 LX470 in Upland CA. It needs a timing belt/water pump replacement before I feel confident driving it ~1500 miles home. PPI would be a plus as well.

Any reputable shops y'all can recommend? Dealers included if y'all have had good experience. Thanks!

Which direction are you heading from Upland?

Headed to Kansas City, most likely by way of (the?) 15 through Vegas. Happy to detour for professional service.

Ideal scenario would be a local shop willing to pick it up prior to me flying out, but obviously not necessary.

I recently had the timing belt done at Primo Motorsports in Santa Ana at the recommendation of @DirtyRice Joe. The service was good and done quickly. The owner is a Toyota guy that does rock crawler builds along with general maintenance.

A shop that has a good reputation but I have not used is RPM Garage in Monrovia, which is closer to Upland. They have worked on a lot of 100 series trucks so probably a good option.

I think Yotamasters in Corona (also closer to Upland) may do service work.

Excellent, great to have options and none are all too far. Appreciate the recs!
 
I highly recommend RPM Garage in Monrovia. I regularly make the trek from the OC to visit them for service work / upgrades.

They last did my brakes and CV axle replacements.
