Hello 95rs

I have a 96 KZJ95 and am looking for small lift options. Being in Canada there are few of these vehicles and little knowledge about them.
What are the preferred kits for this LC? I don't wheel much and would like to maintain the highway handling.
In Aus I see a 35mm one with King coils and Ultima shocks that is reasonably priced. Any experience with that one?
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated:)

Cheers

A coil spacer lift is probably the best option for you its cheap easy to fit and allowed me to fit 285/75 R16 Cooper STT Discover tires on 16x8 steel rims .

Be warned modifications are addictive - i will be fitting a body lift tomorrow which incidentally is just as cheap and easy to fit as the coil spacers if you can do it yourself (and anyone can if they try) you could do both for less than £200 .

Front spacers were found on ebay but rear spacers are harder to get . I got mine made but if you google Fat Bobs Garage in the USA i believe he sells rear sets , many companies in Oz sell them to . Milners sell body lift kits about £60 a go .

A 1 inch front coil spacer results in a 2 inch lift because of the coil angle . The rear coil spring will need a 50mm spacer to equal things up . This is my Truck now with the same plus a 40mm body lift - 16x8 zero offset steel wheels - 285/75/R16 Tires .

BEWARE body lifts on prados.... They tend to crack the firewall. I own a couple big shops in the caribbean and we do tons of prados. The best lift you can get is ARB Old Man Emu. It rides really nice on highway and is easy to install. If you do a body lift make sure you reuse the stock rubber bushes under the lift block if they are no good get new ones. I have seen and fixed many prados that did not use them and the mounting points crack...

Below is a pic of one of the prados I just finished no body lift just ARB

I'm from Perth, Western Australia and have a 1.5 inch suspension lift using King Springs and Monroe shockies. Also have a 1.5 inch body lift using metal blocks that someone made and installed for me. Lots of clearance now and heaps of fun on the tracks! :)

Running 285/75/16 Silverstone MT117 tyres on 16 inch 0 offset steel rims.

Hi guys I'm trying to do the spring lift mentioned above but can't find the partshi guys
Anyone able to send me a link to the spring spacers mentioned above as I've tried fat bobs and can't see them
Ebay I can only find the rubber inserts
I've got wheels and tyres today so really want to get the other bits ASAP

I just followed a search to find out what a KZJ95 was after reading a little about them and it led me here. This is one of the coolest little trucks I've ever seen! Even better with the added height.
Just wanted to say that.

2" ironman lift and sitting on 285/75-16 on 16x8 rims. Ironman is as good as Old Man Emu imo. I have had both, and both work well but Ironman is only 2/3 of the price on OME.
