Hi Gang,
I added a boost controller to my kzj78. I have a boost gauge sensor down stream of the filter and upstream of the MAP sensor. Stock turbo pressures for my unit are around 9 psi in that location. I purchased a boost controller and have been adding pressure. My understanding that fuel cut for over boost is around 14psi. I am only at 11 and at full noise I am getting surging. So I'm guessing it's cutting fuel for over boost, but I'm still 3 or 4 psi below what that should be. Is it possible I'm under fueling somehow and this is a fueling issue not a boost cut issue? Anyone else ran into this when they added more pressure? I also have an egt gauge and staying well below 1200c pre turbo. I would like to get to 14psi before I have to start bleeding some air pre map sensor. When people have added the bleeder, where do you move your boost gauge t to to get an accurate manifold pressure?
Thanks in advance
